From 1937- Lot of 13 Salad Forks in 1847 Rogers FIRST LOVE Pattern- EXCLNT CONDT Picture(s) and Description:

This is a lot of 13 matching late ART DECO salad or pastry forks, each 6¾" long. The pattern is called FIRST LOVE. It was manufactured by 1847 ROGERS BROS. - I.S. (INTERNATIONAL SILVER COMPANY) and it dates back to 1937. Most of the forks are signed FIRST LOVE on the underside (see last photo below). This is a very heavily collected pattern of flatware, according to my silverware book. It's also very lovely, with a late Art Deco shape and raised floral and geometric motif on each of the handles (see photos below). All pieces are excellent condition, with NO worn or dark spots, NO pitting, and NO heel marks. There's only gentle wear consistent with age and use. ALL silver is intact, and each piece shines very brightly - which is remarkable for such an old lot of silver. You can place these forks on your table as soon as you remove them from their wrappings! About Shipping... I will ship these 13 FIRST LOVE salad forks to most places in the world. I must receive payment 5 days after the close of the auction or I will re-list the item. Returns OK within 14 days from the end of the auction, but only if item(s) are misrepresented in the listing. Please pay for these via PayPal. Whenever possible, I am happy to combine your purchases into just one package to save you shipping fees. I can wait up to four days to get paid, should you want to wait and see if you have won other items I currently am listing. If this what you're planning to do, be sure to send me a note & let me know! Also, if you live anywhere near me (North Detroit suburb), we can make arrangements for you to pick up your purchase(s) and thereby eliminate the need for shipping fees altogether. For U.S. Residents: Shipping rates always include Delivery Confirmation. You can opt to have this shipped to you via Parcel Post Mail- or - domestic Priority Mail, your choice. (Sorry, the lot is a little too heavy to be shipped via domestic First Class Mail). For individual items/listings that sell for $100.00 or more, I will purchase postal insurance for you. For Non-U.S. Residents: I will be happy to ship this to you via International First Class mail, as that appears the least expensive way to go. However, if you prefer, I can send this via International Priority Mail or Global Express Mail (your package will get to you faster, but will cost much more!). Please Be Aware: The U.S. Postal Service no longer offers tracking or insurance services for packages sent via International First Class Mail - or - Flat Rate Priority Mail. If you require proof of shipment, you must have your package shipped via Global Express Mail or International Priority Mail. I cannot and will not be responsible for packages that do not reach you, if such packages were sent via International First Class Mail. Please check all delayed shipments with your country's Customs office. IMPORTANT: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. IF you have any problem, issue, or concern with this item ... please contact me before leaving negative or neutral feedback, or low DSRs. I do make every effort to describe each item to the best of my ability, and to take the best digital pictures I can. However, I am not an expert, far from it, and I have been known to make unintentional mistakes. If something is amiss, please give me a chance to do everything I can to make it right.
